XVII-XVIII centuries' landlords owning large farms often hired experienced specialists - agriculturists - to organize labor in the fields. In their everyday work, agriculturists implemented prolificacy science and practical farming experience of various regions in order to improve harvesting. Quite often landowners sent their agriculturists to academies and paid for their education to benefit of new knowledge.
